During the very first days of spring, as the wildflowers were slowly beginning to make an appearance, I gathered with a team of British wedding vendors and artisans to create this wedding inspiration shoot.
This soft and ethereal shoot was designed to welcome the subtle first breath of spring in the beloved English countryside, the result is a delicate celebration of nature unfurling from winter to spring.
Set within Ashridge House in Hertfordshire—a grand estate once home to royalty—this shoot is an ode to early spring and classical British heritage. Every detail of this shoot was sourced from British artisans, from the vintage dress and antique ring to the stationary and accessories. The greenery and wildflowers were all foraged from the estate grounds, to bring elements of the season indoors and enhance this charming light filled room.
It acts as a purposeful source of inspiration for any couple dreaming of a seasonal spring wedding in Britain, and it captures the tentative feeling of crisp light and new beginnings that spring promises.
