On a fresh midsummer’s day, I joined Olivia of Host Weddings & Events for a day in the Cotswolds and a tour of the luxury wedding venue, Lucknam Park. I’d been staying in London, and a day in the countryside was a delightful little escape. We spent the day driving the winding, hedge-lined country roads to visit some of the best wedding venues in the Cotswolds. Our last stop of the day was at Lucknam Park.
With a history dating back to 1720, Lucknam Park is a five-star country house hotel and spa. It was a private family home until 1987, when it open its doors as a luxury hotel. It swiftly become an award-winning, sought-after destination in the Cotswolds. Most recently, Condé Nast Traveller included Lucknam on the Reader’s Choice Gold List 2024.
Lucknam Park is located in Wiltshire, a county within the Cotswolds of England. The estate includes 500 acres of thriving parkland. The centerpiece of the property is, of course, the country house—a Neo-Classical-style Palladian mansion.

After a good night’s rest, there’s so much to enjoy on the property. Guest can explore the parklands—on foot, by bike, or on horseback. The hotel has an equestrian centre with 35 horses. 03 | If you’re a culinary enthusiast

Since 2006, Chef Hywel Jones has maintained a Michelin Star for his restaurant at Lucknam. Guests can savor sophisticated cuisine with panoramic countryside views. But the culinary experiences go beyond the evening meal. Each day at Lucknam begins with a delicious breakfast buffet.
