A romantic sunrise Venice honeymoon session
Shelia and Ricky got married in their home state of California in a wedding romantically-themed as “Tale as Old as Time.” For their honeymoon in Europe, they dreamed of having a Venice honeymoon session in their wedding attire. At sunrise one early June day, we made this dream come true for them.
Just as the sun rose and the mist over the canals faded, I met Sheila and Ricky in St. Mark’s Square. Sheila looked gorgeous in her tulle Marchesa bridal gown. Andrada Muller Floral Design provided a gorgeous bouquet to help Shelia feel like a bride all over again.
Together, we spent the morning roaming Venice’s most iconic locations: The Bridge of Sighs, the gondola-lined canals, Doge’s Palace, and St. Mark’s Square. After I delivered their final honeymoon session gallery, Shelia & Ricky had this to say about their experience:
“The photos are absolutely beautiful and ethereal. Our time in Venice will forever be ingrained in our memory. We would never have experienced Venice in such a unique way if you had not encouraged a session at sunrise. Thank you again, and we hope to cross paths again one day!”
