      01. Paris, France

Let’s begin with a classic, shall we? This city is the epitome of romance. It’s elegant, charming, and full of rich cultural experiences. Stroll along the Seine, sit for hours in a street-side café, get lost in the streets of Montmarte, see an opera at The Palais Garnier, and wander art galleries at The Lourve, Musée d’Orsay, or Musée Rodin.

      02. Venice, Italy

Another classic choice is Venice, Italy—another city that immediately comes to mind when I think of romance. In fact, my husband and I visited Venice on our own honeymoon in 2015.

Venice is a perfect city to get lost in. Because it’s an island, it’s easy to ditch the map and wander the narrow streets and passageways, over bridges and through quiet neighborhoods. The main tourists attractions—St. Mark’s Square and the Grand Canal—are always buzzing with activity. But wandering the side streets with gelato in-hand is such a perfect way to spend a time with your favorite person.

      03. Provence, France

Provence is pure magic. Especially if you’re lucky enough to go during lavender season (June and July). The whole region is filled with quiet villages, market towns, wineries, and of course, lavender fields. Enjoy a glass of Rosé on the terrace of a quiet bed and breakfast, wine taste at a winery, visit one of the region’s many chateaus, and take a day trip to the Mediterranean. Provence is the perfect place to go if you’d rather avoid the crowds and enjoy the countryside together.

      04. Santorini, Greece

Santorini is the most unique and near-perfect places I’ve ever visited. It’s so beautiful it doesn’t seem real. The Greek Island is covered in white buildings with vibrantly-covered rooftops and windows. And at the end of every street are breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Rent an Airbnb with coastal views and enjoy the pace of island life. Rent a Vespa and drive around the island. Sit for hours at a café, sip local wine, and enjoy fresh seafood. It’s without a doubt, the most romantic place I’ve ever visited.

      05. London, England

If you don’t mind a more fast-paced trip, London is a forever favorite. It’s a city full of vibrancy, history, arts, fashion, and cuisine. There are so many diverse neighborhoods to explore—from charming Notting Hill, classy Belgravia, and quiet Hampstead Heath. London is perfect for everyone, because it offers such an array of experiences. And it’s easy to jump on a train and head to the countryside or coast for a day trip. It’s a place I’ll never tire of—it keeps calling me back, and I know you’ll love it too.
