      London Inspired Gift Guide: 2022

      01. Burberry Monogram Print Silk Scarf. When I think of London fashion, I think Burberry. A cliché, sure—but it’s classic! This silk scarf is a fresh take on the signature Burberry check pattern. First used by the brand as early as the 1920s, the check pattern is synonymous with the icon fashion house.

      02. Halcyon Days Enamel Black & Gold Bangle. A gorgeous, chic bangle by Halcyon Days. Handcrafted in England and finished with 18ct gold-plated raised rims, it’s sure to please any London lover.

      03. Charbonnel et Walker: Milk Marc de Champagne Truffles. The box says: “Lightly dusted milk chocolate with a butter and Marc de Champagne centre.” Need I say more?

      04. Jo Malone English Pear & Fressia Duo. A lovely little gift box from the beloved Jo Malone. This perfume and candle duo evokes the fresh scents of pear and fresh freesia. Both are etched with a decorative lace design.

      05. J.Crew New Icon Trench Coat. You can’t go wrong with a classic trench. It elevates any outfit and is perfect for spring and autumn in London—and those unexpected blustery summer days too. Burberry create this wardrobe staple, but I’ve included the J.Crew one here, as it’s a beautiful, affordable alternative to the original.

      06. Victorian London Fog Tea by Harney & Sons Fine Teas. Perhaps the Brits will come after me for not including a UK tea brand here, but I couldn’t resist. I love New York-based Harney & Sons Fine Teas. With hints of vanilla, lavender, and bergamot, this Victorian London Fog tea is London in a cup!

      07. “Mrs. Dalloway” by Virginia Woolf. A gorgeous edition of one of my all-time favorite books. Virginia Woolf’s love for London shines through in every page of the narrative. The novel takes place on a single day in 1920s London. Follow protagonist Clarissa Dalloway as she walks to buy flowers and prepares to host an evening party.

      08. Micro Hat Box by Aspinal of London. Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been seen clutching numerous bags by Aspinal of London. I love the style and shape of this darling little hat box bag. It’s definitely on my own dream list!

      09. Floris London Room Fragrance in Cinnamon & Tangerine. A delicate room spray from British perfume house, Floris London. Makes a perfect host or hostess gift!

      10. Handcrafted Mug with Portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II. This mug features the first official photographic portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II taken in 1952, just twenty days after the accession. The photographer, Dorothy Wilding, went on to take some of the most iconic portraits of the Queen and the royal family.

      11. Navy & Oxford Stripe Umbrella by London Undercover. Every Londoner has a trusty umbrella. This one by London Undercover features a classic navy exterior with an Oxford stripe on the inside. The solid maple wood stick makes for an elegant final touch.

      12. Hendrick’s Gin. Another great host or hostess gift is this bottle of “delightfully floral” gin from Scotland distillery, Hendrick’s.

      13. “London. Portrait of a City” by TASCHEN Books. A stunning coffee table book featuring a visual map of the city of London—both past and present. This one is high on my wishlist!

      14. Daunt Books Gift Certificate. For those planning a trip to London in the near future, treat them to a gift card they can use at Daunt Books. They’re my favorite independent booksellers in London, and they even have their own publishing house.

      15. Chelsea Leather Boot. A pair of Chelsea boots is a must when in the rainy city. They’ll keep you warm and dry but still looking fabulous.

      16. Fortnum & Mason Silver Plated Teapot. Fortnum & Mason’s teapot proved to be so popular in their restaurants, that theymade it available for customers to cherish in their own homes. Its old-world elegance is sure to please anyone who loves serving afternoon tea.

      17. Fortnum & Mason Gift Box. The iconic department store is known for their curated culinary gifts. This gift box includes a port wine, stilton cheese in a decorative jar, and a wooden gift box. Unfortunately, this item is only available in the UK & Northern Ireland.

Happy shopping and have a lovely holiday season!
