A seaside French Riviera wedding at Castel Bay
Castel Bay, a grand Belle Epoque-style venue, was the perfect setting for Diane and Mike’s French Riviera wedding. Set atop a hill above the Riviera, the venue has spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The ceremony took place as the sun began to set, and the light was glowing through the misty sea air. It was a dream to witness and photograph!
The bride works in the fashion industry in Paris, and both her and the groom wore exquisite ensembles: he was in Dolce & Gabbana; and she wore an entirely bespoke Chloé by Gabriela Hearst gown. She was radiant in it, and her hair by French celebrity stylist Frederic Barat completed the unforgettable look.
The couple and their guests traveled down from Paris to spend a few days of celebration on the Riviera. In addition to the fabulous Castel Bay soirée, they hosted a private beach party for their guests at São Praia, an open-air restaurant directly on the sea.
All-in-all, it was an honor to be there and photograph this unforgettable, heart-felt celebration.
