Romantic love stories call for romantic weddings, and Jessica and Stephen’s day is a fine example. She’s American, he’s English, and they celebrated their cross-cultural love with a swoon-worthy English countryside Elmore Court wedding. The manor home is tucked away in the Cotswolds—one of England’s most charming destinations.
The day was planned by the wonderful Jennifer Louise Weddings, who specializes in Cotswolds events. She designed a day inspired by a classic English garden. Sarah Harper created florals with lush roses in gently-crafted arrangements. The paper goods featured delicate sketches of Elmore Court and old-world details, all designed by Caboodle Weddings. Jessica’s Netta BenShabu gown featured intricate lace and removable sleeves. Her extra-long veil made for extra-magical portraits in the gardens of Elmore.
Although Jessica and Stephen had planned for an outdoor ceremony, England was true to herself that day, and the afternoon saw rain and gray skies. Instead, the couple exchanged vows in the candle-lit Great Hall of Elmore Court—and it was a dream none-the-less. After a celebratory floral confetti toss, the couple enjoyed cocktails with their guests, and they braved the English weather for sweet couples portraits in the rain.
